Frown lines are the vertical lines that we find above the eyebrows. They appear as a result of frowning and excessive expression, but they are also a very common sign of ageing; unfortunately, the older we get, the more prominent they become! Frown lines are caused by regular contraction of the glabellar muscles. The cost will depend on the depth of your frown lines, the strength of your muscles, and the expertise of your practitioner. At North West Aesthetics, all of our doctors and practitioners are trained and experienced to the highest industry standards, but we still keep our prices competitive and affordable for our clients. Typically, anti-wrinkle solutions for just one frown line area would cost £115 - however, we would always like to see you for an initial free consultation and assessment before we can confirm the right price for you.

Results will be noticeably at their best from about 2 weeks post procedure, and last from 3-4 months in most patients. To maintain results, a top up treatment will be required at this time.

The treatment itself will only take about 5 minutes, but we will book you in for a 30 minute appointment to ensure we have completed all the necessary consent forms and paperwork, and that you are as comfortable as possible.

There is no downtime with anti-wrinkle solutions, and you can resume daily activities immediately post-treatment.

Some patients may experience a little bruising around the treated area, but this should subside within 24-48 hours and can easily be covered with make up.

Anti-wrinkle solutions can improve the look of moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles and lines on a temporary basis. They are not suitable for people seeking an unnatural look, and are more suited to treat lines that appear when your face is moving, such as laughter and smile lines, as opposed to wrinkles that are present when your face is at rest.
